This successful husband and wife team comprises of Anton and Gail Buttery. Anton’s introduction to the culinary arts commenced with his basic training in the Army Catering Corps. On his return to ‘Civvy Street’ he was Chef in his parents Hotel and Pub/Restaurant in Newquay. Eight years in Basingstoke increased his commercial experience in various establishments. He has fine tuned his skills by constant research and personal development to a level enjoyed by all guests to Langmans.
Gail has a very different background. Initially her sales training was in Advertising with Thomson Directories. Success was such that she was able to take a year off in her mid thirties to travel round the world. This was followed by 11 years in Recruitment, again receiving many corporate awards for her achievements. Her skill with customers and desire to provide a warm, friendly, yet professional service means diners feel special every time they visit.
October 2000 saw the realisation of their dream to own their own restaurant. Anton and Gail have established a reputation as a Restaurant with excellent food and service.
Accolades include consistently achieving 2AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence since 2000.
